Maintenance records keep an asset's repairs and servicing in one place and feed the real cost of the asset into your reports.
A request moves through stages
Each record is Requested, In progress, Completed or Cancelled. Give it a priority (low, medium, high or urgent), say who it is assigned to, and add a description. The Maintenance page is a queue across every asset that you can filter by status, priority or search.
Estimated and actual cost
Enter an estimated cost when you get a quote and the actual cost when the work is done. An expense is created only once the actual cost is known, so a quote never inflates your expense totals. Editing the record keeps its expense in step.
Service reminders
Record when the next service is due. Assets with overdue service are flagged, and overdue maintenance lowers your business health score.
